ReefKeeper 2

I'm thinking on getting a ReefKeeper 2. Does anybody have experience with them?

I just ordered one yesterday (saturday) and got a ups shipping email today (sunday) that says it'll be delivered on 10/5.

It seems like a good buy with all of the features. There's a forum on reef central (find link here on the 'sponsors' thread) that is dedicated to the RK. Hopefully some owners will chime in for you and me.

I just ordered one on Friday. I chose it because I wanted to get a CO2 controller, and those alone cost 100 bucks less than the whole reefkeeper 2 package (ph, expansion socket).

I'm thinking it will be a good addition based on it's features.

I just read on the web that the Reefkeeper have some problems powering some T5 ballasts, is that true?

Please let me know how you guys like this unit.

Digital aquatics also has a forum here where you can talk with them: http://www.thereeftank.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=132

Good question! The RK1 had an issue with the T5 (sometimes.) However the RK2 does not. I wont try to sell you on the product here, but if you post in our sections (as Greg indicated) I can freely offer up plenty of input and info.

Thanks everyone!
