Ph Monitor ?

What is a good ph monitor? Any recommendations?

Any other monitors that you would recommend?

I, currently, have a 9 gallon nano and am thinkin of getting a 30 gallon. I would like to have one even if I don't get the 30 gallon. Maintaining a nano is like having a baby in the house and I think that a ph monitor would really help me out. I'm currently using the chepo-method (five strip test) of testing my water and want to start purchasing some of the better equipment for testing my water.

george is right, pinpoint makes an excellent product. if you want to maybe control your lights and powerheads, then looking into something like a reefkeeper jr. might make sense as well. milwaukie also makes meters, and in many cases they are generally cheaper than pinpoint, but they are for general use, and are not as streamlined for aquarist use as some of the pinpoint products are.

if you buy anything used, figure you will need a new probe, which can run from 35 to 70 dollars, so keep that in mind when hunting for bargains! For your purposes, Pinpoint is probably the best bet though.

EDIT: you can look up more information by the manufacturer, American Marine Inc.
