Hmm...sounds like the kent marine unit may be "better"...unless someone else says otherwise...no issues with the seal and no issues with the hoses...but noone has provided much feedback on that unit which seems odd...still leaning towards TLF but...

I have the kent marine, I havn't had any problems with it, I just ran a t fitting off my return pump line and then a reducer to the 1/2 hose that connects to the reactor. Very easy to hook up and no leaks so far

my only complaint about the TLF one is that the connections on top of the lid are soft ( I think Kents are harder) and if I move the hoses around much I get a bit of leakage out of where the fitting meets the lid part. But no other complaints
