What do you guys think of this CA reactor?

If you haven't been following my build, I'm in the beginning stages of setting up a 180 reef/30 sump with plans for SPS, LPS, softies and a clam or 2. I've heard that the GEO reactors are great, so what do you guys think of this Geo 618? Should I go for it or wait and get the bigger 624?

I think it may be a bit much for a used CA reactor, I can get the thing new for $380. But what about the size?

IMO Geo is the best out there. It is a set it and forget it (for the most part reactor). I've only used Geo, Deltec and one other, but you cannot go wrong with a Geo

It all depends, I would go for the bigger one, just because I could slap a huge frag tank on if I wanted to. But the 618 is plenty big for your system, plus another display if you wanted to add it

hmm... you know, for the $ I might go with the 624. Its only $50 more at aquacave. If I find a 618 for an amazing deal, I might change my mind, but I think this guy is asking too much for a used reactor.

That's a great reactor Traci. But I recommend that you get a reactor with a second column. The second column will help alot of the headaches that come along with a reactor from time to time (like the headaches of low pH in my tank )
