Hmmm, I would want to go with a known manufacturer. Also look for something well made and not overly complicated. The ability to get parts readily and customer service is nice . Especially with a system that big . It will take some effort and dedication so the more dependable the equipment is the easier and cheaper to maintain. May take some patience to get just the right parts but you can do it. With the system you are planning, you will want every dollar you can get! May as well make any purchase from here on out aimed at that bigger system . It will be cheaper in the long run, I can quarantee there will be some cost you arent aware of .

I agree!!! look for a reputable brand and then post your thought and we will give you some feedback. with that size of tank you will also need a 20lb Co2 bottle and a good regulator with a solenoid (absolute necessity). look at the pacific coast imports regulator. good value with dual guages. i got one a month ago and TOTALLY love it. I'm not sure about a dual chamber reactor. the more complicated the system the more problems you will have. if you get a good one you won't even have to do Kalk anymore.

thats my hope well i guess i gotta look around for what size systems different manufacturs rate them.. see prices and how they did it any maybe build my own. the system i had set up was about 450 gallons i sold the 190 tank and upgrading to a 290 so i know the cost of a large system everything is in rubbermaid tubs in the basment as my tank gets built. so.. i will start looking and see what i can find i plan on getting a20lbs bottle.. if i can find one. i found a nice 10 for 50 bucks.. just gotta keep watchin ebay i guess... i plan on a solenoid and dual gauge set up.. what do you think about this PH/ORP controller i would like to run ozone in the future...

Not bad. a Ph controller will make things easier for sure. don't go on ebay for the tank. just go to your local welding supply place. I use airgas here. most of them have a simple trade-in program where you buy the cylinder and then just trade it in for a full one when you empty it. much cheaper and easier in the end.

I use a GEO Calcium Reactor(www.geosreef.com). It is made very well, and was fairly simple to set up as well. Like previously stated, go with the CO2 tanks from a local welding supply. Solenoid/pump can be bought at many different vendors.
