125gal new tank

I have a 125 gal I just bought with a 60-70 gal sump. Will I need any reactors or anything? I would rather start buying now than having to worry about it later on down the road. Thanks!!

It is hard to say up front whether you will need any reactors or not.

What are you planning on keeping? If you are going for a highly populated sps coral environment, then you are probably going to want to invest in a calcium reactor. Otherwise most of your levels can be maintained fairly easily by doing water changes.

The good news is almost all of the reactors are easy to add at a later time, so you can use your money somewhere else until you find you have a real need for one.
