Hi! I am wondering if any of you can give me any information to determine if my protien skimmer is working properly (before something goes bad lol). Thanks!

What's wrong with it???? I'm running 1 on a 24 with no problems other than I find I have to change the filter alot. There are alot of people who don't like them.

Yep havn't heard alot of good about them. A good skimmer will make alot of bubble that burst near the top and that is how you get the nice yuckey looking skimmate. Are you getting bubbles?

they skim very very wet so you will go through a lot of water. the skimmate is not very good either. i would look at upgrading soon.
