Skimmer

OK I have a Sea Life Skimmer powered by a the Rio pump that has the air intake at the impeller. it's a Rio 800. I get very little skimmate from it and what I do get it usually dry.

I was thinking of a new Skimmer the tank is a 58 gal 20 gal sump w/ fuge.

Depending on how much you want to spend I run a MRC mr-2 and a ASM g4+ and like them both.
The MRC's cost more after buying the pump and require a little more hands on. For your tank you would probably just need a MR-1 and G-2 respectively.

Both good choices. MRC skimmers are upgradable so if you get a bigger tank in the future you dont have to buy a new skimmer.
