ready to buy my skimmer now... rate my choise ;)

you may notice that al my post will contain one or more (simple/silly) questions, but bear with me... i'm eager to learn

so i've been looking around on different sites, reading about skimmers, how they work, and why you need one.

filtering out the marketing hype ... and i think that i've decided to go with the following setup;

AquaC EV-180 skimmer
Mag-Drive 7 pump

this will be for a 90 gallon tank with 25 gallon sump.

i'm planning to put the skimmer outside (right next to) the sump though.

does this sound reasonable ?

a lot of people like those skimmers, so that sounds like a good choice.

Agreed! Seem to be a well liked and frequently used skimmer.
