I have a mod proclear skimmer rated 250. It come moded to be use outsump with a mag 9.5.

Anyone know what pump it was suppose to come with the skimmer for use insump?

It work great with a mag 9.5 as an outsump skimmer, however I wanted to change my sump and have everything I need/want to be insump.

the Mag 9 can be used submerged so i am not sure another pump is needed. i would just stick the sucker in the sump and see how it does. the Mag 9.5 is a decent sized pump for a skimmer. i would doubt that the original pump is anywhere near that powerfull.

i have a mag 12 in a small sump about 25gal for my 125gal corner acryllic tank.
