Ok..going for it!

So I'm heading to the LFS tom. to pick up my first skimmer. Going with the CPR Bakpak. If anyone has any MAJOR reasons that I shouldnt get this, post now. Now I know that much of it is just a matter of taste...wish me luck!

Did you washed it out first?Give it a couple days to break in.

Yep I washed it our per instructions. It's been on for 17hrs.. Lot's of turbulence but nothing coming up through funnel into collec. cup. It's much quieter than I thought it may be. I have the airline wide open.

Also Rottie, I saw pics of the member having difficulty with his Cora 65...my chamber has all of those bubbles in it but I have no microbubles some peeps talk about, in my DT. Is this part of "breakin period"?

Jac, it'll take a few days to break in depending on your bio load. The CPR is a decent skimmer. I had one on a 30 for a couple years and it did a fine job.
