to anyone that has a euro reef skimmer.......how har is your return from the skimmer to your water line in sump?....i had it working great this last month..my overflow from skimmer is about a hair line under the water.. is that why mybe this is happening?i usualy have it about a 1/2 inch from water line...its just doing top offs.. it sometimes is under the water a lil or when water evaporates its about 2 inches from water line ...whats the best distance from the water line so i dont get millions of bubbles in my disply tank

I have the RS 80 and mine is just under the water line. I have a couple of baffles that separates it from the return pump, but I too have some micro-bubbles. It's not as bad as your situation, by the sounds of it. I would be interested in hearing what other have to say about it.

I run the discharge from my skimmer into a filter sock that is in my sump. It eliminates all of the bubbles from the skimmer. I don't know if it would work in your situation, but it may be something to think about.

I was playing around last night and found that by pointing the return of the skimmer away from the first baffle system helps eliminate quite a few bubbles by the time they hit the return pump.
