looking for a good skimmer
I have a 180g and need to find a good skimmer. The porblem is I have to work with a skimmer that has a height of 26" or less. int or external is OK. Looking to spend around $500-$600. Any suggestions. what other equipment will I need with it, pumps etc...?
The other question is, with an external skimmer, if I have one of the line fro the overflow, what is the risk of flooding from the skimmer? Is there a fail safe, or is it designed to not leak if the pump goes out or lose of power?
