I hooked up my MR-3, Need help

I have the MR-3 from MRC hooked to a sump and I get the water level and bubble right and then 30 minutes later the water level is down , Whats Up?

It seem to go up and down and not maintain the level, I have it up above the sump and am using a gen X 70 pump to drive it, I think it is the best pump to run on it, I am running with one injector. I would think the level would level out and stay, also, I am trying for water level about 3 inches above black box.

I am thinking it maybe the way I have it sitting, I have it sitting about 2 foot above the sump water level and 3 to 3 1/2 feet above the pump,

skimmers are designed to be run at the same level as the sump.

i would move it to the same level as the sump.

I lowered it and it is working great, Somtimes I just do stupid things. When thinking about it I told myself it was to high above the sump.
