got my new SKIMMER today !!

check out this beast !! if ANYONE needs a new skimmer let me know. i can get you one like this one (only taller, mine is a custom job) for around $400. they are built by a guy that i know localy, and everyone in my LFC swears by them. i know about 5 people that have them around here and they ALL say that these will blow the $700 (nameless) out of the water, for a little more than half the price.

it is not running yet because i have a little more plumbing to get done tomarrow (HD is closed for the night and i need someparts). good news is i wont leave you guys hanging with a teaser pic, so here is the beast in its new home ...

overall it is 20 7/8" tall (my stand is a little short), and the pump is a sedra 4100 (needlewheel). it should easily handle a 250 gallon system.on the nameless ones the gate valve is a $45 option.
