I started building my first diy
sump out of a free 10 gallon tank given to me. (I figured 10 gallon was sufficent since my display is only 29 gallon.) Just a couple questions, I have watched a lot of youtube videos and read a lot so I think I am good. First, I when to Home Depot and bought 1/8" acrylic panels Optix by plaskolite. Is that safe? Says CC2 plastic on it. I bought aquarium sealer to seal seams. Plan on superglue to hold in place the caulk with sealer. Also, I have a HOB skimmer so first baffle will be to about 2-3" below top. How high should I make the return pump baffle? Thanks for the help! Suggestions welcome.
