custom skimmer

Can anyone provide a good site or any info that could help me with making my own skimmer. I have a custom made tank that 90% of skimmers will not fit, and i need to fabricate one. Please help im only finding junk out there.

Is it a space issue or what? Tell us the obstacles you need to overcome, that will help direct you in the right direction!
