Coralife 125 Skimmer

I just took the pump apart for the first time to clean it and the shaft for the impeller is broken in half, I went ahead cleaned everything, put it back together and seams to work fine. Has anyone else had this happen?

yep, all of the time with my Mag's. those ceramic shafts are a lot more fragile than i would like. depending on where the break is, it could function fine for quite a while.
