I figure if I set the 250 body with the extended neck I'm looking at only putting out about 50-70 bucks for the 300a

No clue... There is one store in the US that has them now, but MS has been so good to me I was planning oh holding off until they have them... Plus I don't know if I can get just the body from the other company...

Yea, I've had awesome results dealing with them. They have the 300a listed on the site for sale with the Askoll pump for $600... not a bad price at all. I think I will be going for it when I buy the bigger tank... I'm thinking of giving Aquarium Obsessed a call for a quote..

LOL... I know the feeling. with all the different training classes I have been in lately (and how some contradict the others) my mind is jumbled on the difference between a fish bone and a fish bone diagram...yikes!

Thumbs up

Bubble Magus 160 BM160

I bought the bubble Magug 160 with the recirculation pump outside the body on ebay. (BM160) This thing is a monster. This is the best $325 I have spent on my tank. I have a 125g tank and this is rated up to 215g but bigger is better in the skimmer world. (in my opinion) Hope this helps someone out there.
