aquac remora skimmer pumps

Bought a hob type aquac remora skimmer the maxi jet pumps that come with them are crap 2 have burnt out in the past 6 months on me. What would be the best pump to buy for this skimmer?

My Remora Aqua C Pro had a Rio then I put a MJ 1200 on and it worked OK,but when I bought a Coralife HOB,It blew away the Remora.But never had a problem with MJs.

Ive heard of using a mag 3 on the regular remoras will this work?

I'm still torn between the Coralife 65 or 125 HO (37g tank), or aqua c remora with 1200, or cpr backpack...they all have mixed reviews!

If you want a HOB skimmer, go Octo. You pay a little more but they produce well and are less finicky than the Coralife.

well I herd lots of problem with the CL 125,never used a cpr.So between the two left,I'd go with the CL 65.but that my opinion.
