Anyone seen the Sequence Skimmers yet??
In my quest for a new skimmer that will handle 800 gallons heavily stocked I ran across the orca needlewheel pump and then the sequence skimmer. This thing looks like dollar for dollar, one of the best buys out there for large tanks...
Anyone have any first hand experience with them... I'm still 6 months away from a new skimmer, but there are rumors that sequence will be releasing a much larger one in the near future.

Guess not Here is a link at premium aquatics. I have to tell you that I'm thinking of selling my custom made GEO for this thing! I was looking at the ATI Bubblemaster, but it's only rated for 500 gallons and I'll be pushing 800 moderately stocked.

I saw this thread yesterday and didnt say anything becasue i didnt know enough about them. I have seen them and they look like they rock.
Being a recent ATI bm-250 convert myself.......how about the BM-300?? I think its a couple months from release, but its supposedly pulling 4000 lph at only 70 watts. lol That timeframe just may work out for you. It IS almost twice the cost of the BM 250 at $1350 I hear though.

Hmm. That is interesting. I've just started dabbling into researching skimmers for my build and was unaware there was going to be a big brother release of the ATI. That's got me thinking...

Yeah, I love those! But people who have not seen them after a week of running just don't understand the funk they can pull

Do you think the new ATI will be in sump? I have a 24"X24" spot in my sump, but it might be a pain to get to service a skimmer... That may be the deciding factor...

It took me almost 4 weeks to really break in and get it dialed. Longer than any other skimmer i have ever used. Well....except for my MR-2 which I NEVER got dialed LOL

I dont know. If the pump connections are anything like mine....it would HAVE to be. The pump connections are interesting to say the least. Many people hate them. I expected the worst before i actually received it after hearing the complaints. Im kinda weird and now that i have it I kind of like them

Hmmm. guess I'll put skimmer research on the backburner for a while and see. I have enough plumbing, cleaning and building to keep me busy until August anyways

Yeah, but do you really think it would have STILL been dialed a week later if you continued to use it??

Are you kidding. I couldn't go 2 days with out bumping something
That's why I had a custom 48" tall Geo made... That is truely a set it and forget it skimmer. It just skims and skims... I would keep it, but I think that it would really be pushing the limit, if not exceeding it at 800 gallons...
