what is a good cheap pump?

is there a good cheap pump for my sump to pump water up 5 feet to my tank at about 600 gph? any that are under $60?

Not the best, (not aweful either) but I'm pretty sure QueitOne makes a pump in that GPH range that sells for less than $50...also I see you are in MO...where about?...the greater KC area (actually has members as far as Topeka and Columbia) has a local board that always has someone selling a used pump...if you're in the area I'll hook you up the info.

So much for that idea.

I just checked the model I run on my DIY skimmer and it's a QuietOne 3000 (same thing as a Sicce pump)...it's performed very well for over a year and was around $40 at Petsmart.

BTW...in case you don't know, the Sicce pump is made in Italy and is used on the Octopus Extreme skimmers...the only difference I can see is QuietOne puts a blue housing around it and a different impeller (the skimmer version has a needle wheel).
