Tunze or Vortech

I am currently running a single Vortech (100%) in my 55 gallon tank. I know this is a good bit of Flow. (a little over 60X per hour with my return pump), but I want more.
I am looking into either another Vortech or a Tunze Nano Wave Box. THey are around the same cost, but which is better?
My tank is going to be almost exclusively SPS, so Flow is my friend (plus I run the tank BB). Which would be better for my situation?

I curently have a Vortech 40 Gen 2. It is a great powerhead. I had the original model and this is a drastic improvement IMO.
I am just wondering if I could do the same the the wavebox does with 2 Vortechs.

I have not had Vortech but have had Tunze.

The only complaint I have heard about the Vortech's is that they are stationary and cannot be pivioted around to shoot in any direction.

op - do you have the wireless controlled vortech? i was able to get a 1.5" wave going on a 180g aquarium with just one vortech in short pulse mode with some patience.

Take a look at the new Tunze Streams too... I picked up a 6105 and LOVE it. Its controllable and can pivot almost 360°, allowing you to aim the flow.

With that said, I am looking at perhaps an MP20 to go on the bottom glass (I run BB too) to assist with deutritus suspension. One thing I have heard about the Vortech's is the incredible undertow currents that they produce!

Both are fine products made by good companies (IMO).

One of the great things with the Vortecs are that they
are expandable. You already have 1 in your 55.
Its easy to add a second, third, so on.
They have many features, where as the wavebox is just that; a wavebox.
I have a pair of MP40W's in my 90g & can easily mave the waves
top the tank on short pulse mode.
