looking for some help with pumps

I am getting ready to plumb my 125 gallon cornerflow tank. I have a mag 5 pump on had already but i need to get another pump of some kind as well. I need something to run water into my skimmer and then something to return water to the tank. I don't know alot about the mag 5 interms of its flow rates etc. Would this be a good pump to run into the skimmer or would it be better suited as the return pump? I am obviously new to this hobby so any ideas or thoughts from you all are helpful.

I know Mag's are used as return pumps but IDK if a Mag5 is big enough for your return pump on a 125. What skimmer are you using?

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.

you can always compare pump gph with the comparison shopping tab up at the top. I'm unsure what size pump that skimmer needs
