I have 2 never used Life Guard Quite One pumps which I purchased in the late 90's. I had gotten them to run my TMC Power Pro clone I had built but never had the opportunity to run (long story). This is the pump TMC
recommended to drive the skimmer's venturi valve. The LFS where I had seen the skimmer running also had the same pump bringing water to the skimmer, which is why I bought 2 of them. Later I realized it would be better to use a weeker pump to deliver the water,so that the water in the skimmer would be re-circulated to a certain degree. I'm considering converting the skimmer to a Beckett injector model similar to TMC's HSA 1000 and am wondering if the Quite one pump would be able to drive the Beckett injector. According to issues of FAMA in 2000, this pump put out upto 1140 gal/hr. These pumps were made by the Grundfo company which later sold that part of the business.Does anyone out there know what this pumps output was at various head pressures.
