Ceramic magnets

Anyone know if ceramic magnets are reef safe?? They have 'em real cheap at the hardware store and I wanted to get some to mount the powerhead in the garbage can I use for mixing water.

FYI: they aren't coated, just the bare ceramic magnet.

If the magnet part isn't coated then I wouldn't use it.

you could always just coat it with epoxy.
