aqualifter cracks

I have 3 aqualifter pumps on 3 different sumps. Two i just got in the last 6 months and the other was over a year ago. All 3 have cracks in the top of the case cover running diagonally across the top. The pumps run 24/7. Has anyone else had this problem. Aqualifter company says they have never heard of this? Thanks
