2 koralia 3's in a 75!!!
anyone runnin a 75 with koralia's???
i now have 4 koralia 3's(got them for a KILLER deal so i couldnt pass them up)......
i put 2 in my 75.....one in each corner firing at the front glass towards the center.....is it WAY TO MUCH flow???......frogspawn, gsp, blue xenia, devils finger and green stripe mushrooms closed......or are they just not used to the current? i went from 2 petco 120gph powerheads to these.....
think i should cut back to one????
or any ideas on placement if the 2 are fine in there???
ALSO........im waitin on my 90 to get here......and this are the powerheads ill be running in it......once the 75 comes down

It takes some creativity for sure, I run 2 K4's in my 100 gal, so I have a similar situation. Currently I have them in the back of my rocks, blasting at each other. You can try angling them up toward the surface, it will scrub a little velocity while retaining decent water movement.

Put one in the back firing the length of the tank, then put the other one on the opposite side in the front firing the length of the tank, to create a nice swirl. I do that with a pair of 600 GPH CLS's in my 55. I would use the "flow concentrator" that come with the koralias if you go the same route that i did.

im gona play with them tomorrow when i get home to see what i can come up with.....
had them both on the back on opposite sides firing at the front.....WAY to much.....
angles one more towards the center and up and then put the other on the side firing the lenght of the tank....and that didnt help much either....
so i just unplugged the one on the back for tonite so that i dont dislodge anything or tick the dusters off to bad and they loose their cowns or ditch their tubes.......
thanks for the info....i kinda thought about firing them like that....but gota move some rock around to get it right so im not blasting stuff of the rocks...

You could also try putting tem on the back about 3 in in from each side pointing towards the outside so they bounce of that, then to the front, then around. Here is a pic on mine, I have 3 K3's in my 75, but the tank is bb.

Look at the one on the bottom right, that is what I mean on this. If you have sand, just do the same thing up higher.

I've got 3 Koralia 3's in my tank - not BB either. I have 2 on the right side about 3-4 inches from the top. One close to the middle aimed up towards the surface and towards the back wall, the other close to the front of the glass aimed up and straight towards the other end of the tank.
On the left side it's about 4 inches from the top, close to the back wall aimed up and towards the front right corner.
Keeps the water agitated on the surface very well. It seems like a lot of flow to me, but there's no dead spots.

I got 2 K4's and 2 K2's in my 75 just fine. Run the 2 K4's in the corners the 2's in the middle. Its always worked good for me. The flow directors helped a ton though when I got my new one that had that on it.

i tried all 3 in my tank.....too much for my sugar sand but i also cant do much in the lines of moving rockwork to open up and close off areas either....
i will run all 3 in the 90g along with a dual return with a SCWD on them....
where can i get them flow mods for them at? and are they worth the money or just better to leave them be?

It's kind of hard to get random from 1 source. Long term swirl can create directional growth patterns in branchy typed corals (think wind swept tree).

Did I ever tell you about the time Brasky went hunting? Well anyway, Brasky decides he's gonna hunt down all four members of the Banana Splits. He stalks and kills every one of them with a machete. They all beg for their lives, except Fleagul.
