VHO Lighting length question...

Getting ready to order the VHO lighting. My question is, my tank is 48" long, do I get the 48" lighting or the 36" VHO lamps, I would think 36" since the 48" with end caps may be to long to fit in the canopy. My other question is the end caps. Which ones do I get?
Thanks.....

Here is the lamps Im getting X2

Which end caps do I get out of these 2?

The length of the tubes depends on howmuch room you have. If you can fit the 48's in your canopy I go that way as you will get more wattage. Also what ballast(s) are you using? That may be a factor but the VHO ballasts are pretty versatile.
