Ushio or Icecap Bulb

Hello guys. Im planning to purchase a new HQI Double Ended Bulb this weekend. Im looking for a bulb on the 10,000k range. I was looking at the Ushio 10,000k and the Ice Cap 10,000k. Both seem to be pretty good bulbs but I read that the Icecap might be a little bit more blue than the Ushio. I currently have two 96watt Actinic Bulbs supplementing the Halides. Any advice or experience with any of these two bulbs. Thanks.

you can look at the Sanjay site and see which one has a better PAR value, that is if you want to go by the numbers. most people go by their eyes. not sure how to do this without seeing them in person or find pics of those bulbs running on systems. this can be difficult anyway. everybody has different ballasts and different supplimentation, so it can look different on your tank than it did in their pics.

I would just get the Ice cap. They seem to overall do well on most types of bulbs.
