T5 or Halide

Hello everyone, i currently own a coralife 265 watt PC fixture on a 75 gal tank and want to upgrade. I am thinking of going two different routes, but stuck in the middle. One route would be purchasing the Aqualight Pro HQI/PC fixture that puts out 492 watts for $733. My second route would be to purchase the Nova Extreme T-5 HO fixture that puts out 432 watts w/ eight bulbs for $400. I like the shimmer that the halides produce, but i also like the savings that come along with the t-5's. But is the Novak T-5 ho fixture decent? i am familier with the aqualight fixture, but don't really know anything about t-5 lighting. i would like to save money but i don't want a crappy fixture. please comment so i can decide which route to take.
thanks much-MUGEN

do not have any experiences with either. on a 75g tank you will be fine with either choice.
