T5 electrical question?

Okay hears one for all you lighting gurus slash electricians out there. Currantly I have four T5's retroed over my tank with two Accustart Ballasts by Triad. They came with the tek retro kit from marine depot.
Anyway I have the ballasts set to drive two bulbs apiece, like they are designed to do. Both ballasts work. The problem is that when one set of lights is on the other set will not come on and vice versa. All bulbs are good. Verified this by using all my bulbs in the ballast currently working at the moment. I can not get all four lights to work and that is the problem. Is there some sort of shielding that these things need so they dont interupt each other or something? I went as far as seperating the ballast with seperate power cords instead of having them on one, and even moving one ballast farther away from the other. Still both will not come on at the same time. I'm at a loss, anybody please!

Thanks for the response Geoff. Um hate to say it but the darn things were working like clockwork when I got home tonight. Didn't change a thing. It seems like things only go right when they see that you've given up on them. LOL

Glad it's working. I've had mysterious malfunctions too. Unfortunately, most of the time, it turned out to be me and not the equipment
