Opinions on Oddysea ballasts

Hey guys, I have a chance to buy an Oddysea dual 250watt ballast for a really good price but cant find too much info on them. Does anyone have any experience with them? It is an electronic ballast and from what Ive heard are better than magnetic. I could really use some help as I dont want to miss this opportunity. Thanks for anyone that can chime in

You will probably find mixed opinions on the oddysea ballasts. On one hand, they have had a rep for catching fire, electricution, etc. On the other hand, I have heard that they have made improvements to correct those problems. Im sure others will chime in on this one...
