Nooblet reefer

I have a 37G 30"L 12"D 20"T We would like to have some entry-level corals and such (if such a thing exists) I'm going to get a Coralife 65 Skimmer and 2 Koralia 3's this weekend. What type of lighting should I get for the less temperamental inverts? Stock canopy we have came with a basic 24" tube. Thx! Ok so I'm thinking of going with the Current USA Nova SunDial T5 Aquarium Lighting Fixture, 4X24 Watt, 30 inch. Will this suffice for some softies and maybe a few LPS and SPS's? Also, I want to keep my tank covered...this unit has legs that I guess will allow it to sit above it but can I still have a lid or something (glass)?

Check your tank dimensions. What you have posted comes out to 31 gallons. If indeed its a 37 gallon then it is 22 inches tall. But what you are really concerned about is how tall it is. Theres a ton of good info out there on this topic but to answer your question. You should be able to keep just about everything you want. SPS will need to be in the upper half of a tank that tall. The lid question I cannot answer number one I run no lids on any of my tanks and number two I am not familiar with the design of the brackets on this unit. Although, if I were to take a guess..I'd say they designed it so that it will be useable with any type of standard lid used in the industry. Good luck with your tank. Hope this helps.
