A Hammer Head Coral, Leather Coral, Ricordia and some polups. Going to get a clam or two when my store getts some. They sell them the same day they get em. I need something with a heavy calcuim load to reduce my levels. I tested it the other day and it was off the scale in the 600's My poor fishes arteries are going to turn to stone!

you should be able to keep those corals under that light pretty easily. the hammer is the only iffy one, put at only 1' deep even NO have a chance of giving them enough light.

I keep the hammer almost breaking surfice with one of his heads, He has some perty good growth. I told my p-store guy that I whanted a cheep high light demanding coral to see if I had enof power to keep other things alive. He was agianst the whole test, ( not wanting me to kill it, also waste my money). I told him I think it would survie. He sold it to me and said in a month you would know! Its been about 3 months now. He's grown 2nd best in my tank beside my brown button polyps. Is that a sine he will survie or just a false sine that he's givin all he's got?

it is a pretty good sign. if it is growing, than that is a better sign. it is fairly easy to keep just about anything under any light as long as the tank is less than 12" deep. it is when it gets deeper than that when the light looses a lot of its power.

Do you think I would have any trouble with a clam?

you would have no problems with a Derasa or a Squammie. a Crocea or a Maxima would be close.

Re-did my light setup. Now all the reg flour are touching each other so it allowd me to set the CF on the tank lid. It seems to have increased my brightness buy 15%. which has allready made a noticable diffrence. This friday I will probly buy some sand and make a phoshpate reactor. Mabey that will help with the algea.
