MH questions??

Please excuse my ignorance. I have a large pendant, standard mogul, was hooked up to a 175w ballast, that ballast burnt out and now I have a 250w Icecap electronic and a 250w core and coil ballast. The question is even though the pendant came with the 175w ballast can I use the 250w ballast with this pendant? If so do I need to buy a bulb that can be run in a vertical position? or can I use my existing bulbs? Thank you in advance for your answers.

the mogul sockets are all the same regardless of the wattage. you only need to use the same wattage bulb as what the ballast is rated. use 250w bulbs on 250w ballasts only.
