Lunar LED tips

Hello! I was looking for help in finding a good lunar led for my 30" long 30 gallon tank. I don't have a hood, just a coralife aqualight on top so I would like to find something not too bulky that I can somehow rig to the light. Anyone have experience with these R2 lights?

Fortunately for me, my wife is totally in to our new hobby and would love night lights for the tank! Hope to find her something for our anniversary in 2 weeks. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Why not get the one that will mount directly to your light. Can't get any easier to install, no rigging involved. You just slide it in the rear channel and point it where you want.

Thanks for the tip. I saw that light but thought it may be very dirrectional or too bright. I have a 30 gallon 30" long tank. What do you think?

It's not too bright or focused, there is a small reflector around the led. I also think you can get it in either 3/4 and 1 watt at some places. Instead of installing it directly centered over the tank, you can put it close to one side and allow the light to beam across the tank.
