Looking to Upgrade Lighting..Help?

Hello,

I currently have a 55 reef setup with (1) T5 Light- 1-10k and 1-6k. I am looking to upgrade and was wondeing if anyone has any experience with the below.

48 Inch 4x54 Watt AquaticLife T5 HO Light Fixture w/ 4 Lunar LED's
Lamps Included:
  • (2) 48" T5 HO 54W 420/460 Lamps
  • (2) 48" T5 HO 54W 700+ Lamps
  • (4) 1W Lunar LED`s
I currently have (2) Clowns, (1) Dottyback, (2) Bubble Tip Anemone's, Colt Corals, Zoa's, Mushrooms, (1) Peppermint Shrimp, (1) Goby

I will be adding a couple more fish, corals and anemone's in the future

Will the above mentioned lights be too much?

Eberything in the tank seems to be doing great except my Colt's. Polyps open but they dont expand their arms they did when I first got them from the lfs.

They seem to be priced about the same everywhere online, but did find one place that provides a full set of extra bulbs at no cost.

Thanks!

I have a 75 gallon - with 5 T5HO on it, 1 pure actinic, 2 blue plus and three midday. It is not too much. Additionally, I would recommend purchasing individual reflectors (if the unit doesn't come with them) for each bulb as this is much more efficient than the one reflector for all the bulbs. I'm looking at supplementing my lighting with a single strip of LEDs as well - so no- I don't thing that will be too much (but should be plenty for soft/lps coral).

And to reply to theo riginal poster I run the light in my signature on my 55 and have for three years now, it's way more light then what you are planning to, but I do have to be careful as to the placement of my corals. I haven't posted any recent pics but my tank is fluorishing with the HQI's, but they are power hogs.
