Lighting to bring out color

I have a 2-96W dual actinics and 2-96W dual daylight I use on my 155 Gal tank. All my coral are doing fine and growing. But I bought a green candy cane coral for the color and it doesn't glow like it did when I got it from the LFS. Is it the lighting?

are you trying to see its real colour or its phosphorescence colour? the higher the actinic percentage the more glow it will have. also the higher the actinic percentage the slower the growth of the coral.

do you know what kind of lighting it was under at the LFS. this should help in figuring out what you are missing.
