Lighting help

Ive got a 36" x 18" x 18" tank and im halfway through setting it up and ive come to lighting. I'm planning to have all sorts of corals and anenomes and was wondering whether a light fixture with 2 metal halides would be overkill for this sized tank. I would rather have more than less light but if 1 metal hailde plus a couple of fluro's would be more than enough for the tank then id do that to save on power consumption and the extra heat.

Any suggestions

Cheers

that 36" long is the kicker.

i would prolly go with 2-250w MH on that tank. it would give a better more consistant lighting. you will not have to match the aquascaping to the light pattern like you would with 1 MH.
