lighting for a 46 bow front

I have just ordered a sunpod 2x250 hqi mh fixture with 14k bulbs and I also will have 1 96w actinic pc as well. How do I introduce this lighting change to my existing inverts and fish?

Welcome to TRT!

That is a whole lot of light for that tank; what kind of coral do you have in there right now? What kind of lighting do you have already? Do you have a chiller?

I don't have much for inverts right now, just a few zoo's! I am starting to think that I need to go with 150's instead of 250's? I don't have a chiller and I am running 2x96 pc's.
