cleaning MH bulbs

What do I use to clean these things? Water or alcohol would be my guesses.
Thanks,
Bobby

I use windex and a paper towel, I think it takes dried on salt off better than water. Just make sure you ware gloves, or hold it by the metal bit, you don't want the oils from your skin on the bulb glass.

Oh yes, good catch Twitterbait, I only clean my bulbs when they are removed from the sockets well across the room! I have never cleaned bulbs when they are in the reflectors, the reflectors I clean with water, or carefully with vinager if it is really bad.
