I recently switched to Firefox and my navigation through the net has been smoother. Im still trying to figure how the heck some spyware got into my comp, not even adware detects it. Also, having a firewall is a must for security.

Why worry, I'm not. I use protection when I surf
I have Deep Freeze on all my workstations: http://www.faronics.com/html/deepfreeze.asp
I setup all the softwares that I want on my computers and I install Deep Freeze as a very last step. From that point on, my C:\ is un-changeable. People can delete or hack all they want 'till the cows come home and all I have to do is reboot and POOW!!!, computer is PRESTINE again.
It's probably the one single greatest application I've ever seen IMO.

Interesting, I should be getting a real computer early next year and will have to learn to live with XPEE. Considering trying Firefox, tho I am partial to Netscape. Definatly going to install a different firewall than the standard winblows offering

Spyware, bad!!
At my job, we have a very secure firewall. One of our users had "my freeze.com" as his default home page. That should have never happened.
Another friend had the same thing happen to his PC. Myfreeze.com does just that, freezes the PC. Locks it up tight. Only a reboot will get it out.
