I wish I had done this a long time ago; my goodness this is so much better!
One thing that's bothering me, anything that's animated flashes like mad and it's driving me nuts! Any tips on how to stop that?

You mean the flashing popup ads? No...except to click them off if you can. Otherwise, like the flashing ad at the bottom of Kazaa, for instance, I just move the whole window so the ad slides below the system tray bar and doesn't show up. It's just all coming in so fast now.
Like you, I couldn't believe I"d resisted cable for so long!
