I had a chance to sit in one at the Minneapolis Auto Show last winter. I really liked it...so much so that I almost didn't buy my Jeep

You are probably better off with a jeep where you live, snow and all !!!!! I don't have to worry about driving in a frozen tundra
Havin fun in the snow yet ?

We have had 2 decent snowfalls, yesterday being the larger one. I still haven't needed 4WD other than to ge tinto my driveway.

Good choice in going with the 6s. Here's a website you may find interesting: www.mazda6club.com. I do like the lines of the car, and would like to get one when the truck goes. Hopefully Mazda figured out the rust problem along the doors.

Love the car!!

Superswamper, Thanks, I am a member of the mazda6club. I have no sign of the rust problem on my car, I hope it has been taken care of on the newer modell(04's).
How did you come across the six site?
I like this car because it's not the one like everyone else has / Toyota / Honda / Nissan / VW .
My last car was a 1994 Ford Probe Gt wich was kind like the car that not everyone else had either. I loved that car but it just got to the point were it was time to release it

I just happened to stumble across it when searching for information on the 6. I was looking (aka dreaming) at what my next car would be. The 6 appears to be a relatively affordable car that can hold the kids, and has a little get up and go when needed.

Did you test drive the automatic in the 6s? I used to drive a stick, and kind of miss the control you have over the car. What other cars did you look at before deciding on the 6?
