XP Question

I have had a nightmare of problems this last week with XP. Finally i just started another account on it and was wondering how to import the fav menu and my saved email and address books to the new account. Any help would be appreciated.

If you can go into the other account's Documents & Settings folder you might be able to do a "Select All" in the Favorites folder and copy and paste them into your current Favorites folder. Does your new account have administrative priveleges?

Email...depends on what you're using for email. Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora...

For outlook 2002 or XP...do a search for *.pst, write down the location. Open up Outlook, click on File, Import/Export, Import from another program or file, scroll down to "Personal File Folder" .pst, where it says location type in the location you found earlier, check the button for "Allow Duplicates" and click OK.

For the address book, repeat the process, but search for *.pab. Import them to your contacts list.
