People in the wrestling community are nuts. Its the whole steroid thing. Remember a few years ago when either "psycho sid" or "the million dollar man", I forget which one, killed Mrs. Elizabeth and himself? Steroids are a drug, and drugs kill.

Hmmm... what could have happened? Heres a quote from yahoo sports "Investigators also found prescription anabolic steroids in the house, Lt. Tommy Pope of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department. "
http://sports.yahoo.com/top/news;_yl...v=ap&type=lgns

Not distasteful, but facts are facts.

Regardless of the "facts," we should have some measure of respect for the dead. The condition of a persons mind when something like this happens is usually in such turmoil that they really don't know what they are doing. It is sad that 3 people died from the effects of this drug. but it is really not our place or the place of the media to judge what was going on when it took place.
it is a sad story.

It is a very sad thing that has happened. We will never know what was going through his mind when he committed these acts and can only guess if drugs played a part or not.

LOL

The vast majority of people on drugs do not murder their families and then commit suicide. Nor do the vast majority of people who are not on drugs murder their familes and then commit suicide.

dont get me wrong, Im not saying they didnt play a part. But blaming drugs and then saying you arent judging all in one breath is a little bit of a contradiction

no worries ... I am not judging anything though. The drugs he was using are known to cause paranoia, depression, and a few other things that can cause one to commit suicide, thats just a known fact. I am guessing they would have really had to mess him up good to take out his family as well though. That part still gets me.

I am not sure how true this is (can't seem to verify it), but I heard on FOX Radio yesterday that on Wikipedia there was a note that Benoit has killed himself and his family (wierd part is it was time stamped 12 hours before the police found the family). There is a note on there about the murder and suicide, but I cannot find the time stamp.

Anyone else hear this...

I heard about this, and they are looking in to it. This is just a weird story and very sad to hear.
