Cable for my Internet and TV. Although I very seldom watch TV anymore. The phone line in the house is a Vonage phone. Free long distance.

I already knew that answer
but the HDTV service may be cheaper with cable than direct TV

I know my SIL went with cable but the rate was only good for a year she plans on switching to satellite when her year is up.
Direct TV should set you up at the new place for free I think

The apartment complex we are in won't allow DirectTV. I want to check on it because of some things I like watching on DirectTV that I don't get on Cable.

Too Bad, I have had Directv for years now, not sure whichg package I have but I have all the basic and enhanced sci channels, plus the Encore pkg including Starz, Encore, pretty much all the offerings cept SHOWTIME< HBO< CINAMAX and the pay nasally sports channels, I dont do Hi-Def, I pay about $68 a month, my daughter has Basic Cable and her $30 a month gets her the basic networks, WB and a few others like CMT and a boat load of constant infomercials, public access, and foriegn language, and religious programming
in all she gets 6-7 channels she actually watches, NO THANKS
