Why you dont take big animals with sharp teeth for granted
Warning...slight gore.....I asked Tims if this wasnt too gory and he said it was acceptable
I didnt know eels could be this docile and friendly to be honest

The eel was so docile towards him.....even when he bit his finger off, there no doubt it wasnt intentional.
Go figure.....continually feed a huge eel food that looks like your finger.......hes gonna eventually get your finger

I did notice the strong resemblance between the hot dogs he was wagging at the eel and his fingers.
My Chainlink, Spotty, loved to have his tummy rubbed and to swim through my fingers, even when he was full grown at over two feet. I got nipped once when he was only about 9" long while hand-feeding freeze-dried krill to him. It was completely unintentional and barely broke the skin but I switched to long toothpicks for the krill after that. When he got over a foot long, the hand feeding stopped and I made it a policy that food and fingers would not be in the tank at the same time.
Those green morays have a whole different class of teeth than the little Chainlinks, though.
