whew, long day and it's not over!

Hi all,
so we went to town to buy a new bed because we always wake each other up getting into and out of bed with our out of sync work hours. We got a nice princess euro top set and frame and now the waterbed is just about empty. We had to go to the mall for a new sheet set and comforter and then I braved the rest of the mall to go to two stores, and of course I forgot a store so I have to go back, dang! I try not going to the mall more than once a year...
now I've got to lay down cuz I have to work 11pm-5am! I volunteered otherwise a lady with less seniority would have had to work 3rd shift tonight, do an 8 hour turnaround to work 2nd shift tomorrow, then another 8 hour turnaround to work days the rest of the week... so I volunteered and another gal is coming in at 5 so that I in turn don't get stuck with an 8 hour turnaround!!! It'll be worth it now that we have the new bed and all...
We brought Bernie to Petco and got his christmas goodies and he got to stand up and watch the parakeets... he's a bird dog so he was just a watchin'! Wish I could have gotten a pic of that. Then I had to go check out the fishies... they had a volitan in a tank, oh talk about cute! It's body wasn't more than an inch long!!! Big ol' spines everywhere... hehe... I saw all sorts of freshie fishies that I wanted, but no rams. I'll probably start with a half dozen neons and go from there.
Hope you all had a good weekend!

Ahhh, prob no more than a nice conventional mattress setup,,I've seen alot of super premium mattress's that sold for more than our Sleep#,,,,,
And with my back, (surg. fused bottom three vert's to the tailbone) i needed something that would be the best for my situation,,,The wife says, the only thing wrong with our new bed, is that her knees at times stiffen up , from not moving all nite. We thought about the thermapedic sponge deal mattress, but from what i heard from people that had it first, and then went with the Sleep #,,,,my diving buddy and his wife, got a second one for their 40 ft motorhome,,they like it so much,,,

The sleep number beds are pretty nice. A couple of my girlfriends have them. Guess the 62 was the most comfortable for me anyway.

I need to get a bed for my bachelor pad and have no idea how to decide. It is tempting to get something fancy, but there has to be something out there without mechanical stuff that will be comfortable.
